Equipment Issue Policy

From baseball bats to sleeping bags we may just have the equipment you need for that picnic or camping trip and best of all it is free to Air Force military and civilians assigned to the Pentagon.

Period of Checkout: Sport and Party/Picnic items may be checked out for a period up to 7 calendar days. Camping equipment may be checked out for a period up to 17 calendar days. Santa suits are to be picked up one day prior to the event and returned the day after the event. Checkout times are 0900-1600, Monday through Friday.

Reservation of Equipment: All equipment may be reserved one week in advance. With the exception of the Santa suits. Santa suits can be reserved one month prior. Otherwise, we follow a first come, first served basis.

Late Charge: $5.00 per day for every day beyond the return date.

Loss or Damage: Personnel are responsible for care and maintenance of equipment. An individual signing for equipment accepts responsibility for its return. Loss or theft of issued equipment must be reported immediately by calling 703-697-9866.

Turn-in Condition: Equipment will be returned in such a condition that it can be immediately reissued. Prior to accepting an item for turn-in, we will inspect to ensure it is clean, complete, and in serviceable condition.
